Here’s a bit of Coldplay

Coldplay, also known as Pectoralz, Starfish, and Los Unidades.
Pectoralz, the band’s first name. During the University College London’s orientation week in September 1996, Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland met, and after spending the rest of the university year planning to form a band, they finally came up with the name Pectoralz. Martin and Buckland’s classmate, Guy Berryman, later joined the group. In 1997, they renamed the band and called Starfish. Phil Harvey, Martin’s long time school friend, became the band’s fifth member and became the band’s manager. And to complete the line-up, Will Champion joined in…
But wait a minute, did you know? Will Champion, Coldplay’s drummer has no previous experience as a drummer, he just quickly learned drums! He grew up playing piano, violin, guitar, bass, and tin whistle, but not drums!
Going back to a bit history of the band… They got the name Coldplay after a local student, Tim Crompton, suggested it. It is the name he had been using for his group. And the rest is History!
Ooopppsss, wait, What about Los Unidades? In 2018, Coldplay, released Global Citizen Ep1, using the name Los Unidades which, they said, looks like to having a part of a bigger projects. It includes the song E-Lo with Pharrell Williams featuring Jozzy. The proceeds from the Ep was donated to help end global poverty. Such a big heart!
