Built on a 12/8 time signature at a moderate tempo of 81 BPM, the drums, played by Christophe Deschamps, don’t just keep time; they breathe life into the entire performance, setting the dynamic tone throughout its duration.

From the outset, it’s clear that the drum part carries a dual role — both as a timekeeper and as an emotional vehicle that propels the song forward. The listener is gently guided through shades of intensity, with the drumbeat maintaining a smooth yet compelling force. During softer, introspective verses, the drum part remains understated, allowing other instruments to shine through. However, as the chorus kicks in, the drums erupt in a powerful, galvanizing swell, demonstrating how a simple rhythm can transform and elevate a song’s emotional weight.
