From the second album of the same name, Paranoid, is the first single released on 7 August 1970. It was ranked number 34 on VH1’s 40 Greatest Metal Songs. It reached number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. The song has a tempo of 164 bpm.
William Thomas Ward, or Bill Ward, is best known as the original drummer of Black Sabbath. He is an English musician, and visual artist. He also sang It’s Alright from the album Technical Ecstasy, and Swinging The Chain from the album Never Say Die!
