NEW MAPEX SATURN IV SERIES

MAPEX announces the release of two new batteries in the Saturn IV series.

The Mapex company is revolutionizing their Saturn battery line by announcing the release of the Saturn IV series.
In collaboration with respected artists around the world, the Mapex team has created the next evolution of the Saturn series, with a host of improvements including:

• SONIClear ™ tom suspensions
• SONIClear ™ bass tom stands
• Reduced contact bass drum stands
• Mark™ Memory Rings

and new finishes.

WOOD

While remaining faithful to the maple/walnut hybrid formula, which made the Saturn series a unique kit respected by professionals, the new look and new features mark a significant departure from the old Saturn series.

FINISHES

Fans of the Saturn series now have the choice of two different finishes:

• Saturn MH Edition: The snare drum and toms are made of 6 layers, the bass drum of 8 layers. They are made of maple from North America and walnut shells. The barrels are mounted with chrome hardware.
  The drums are equipped with Remo Emperor heads on the toms and Remo P3 on the bass drum.
  The Saturn MH Series is available in 6 new color finishes:
  • Merlot Burst
  • Granite Sparkle
  • Red Strata Pearl wrap
  • Transparent Espresso Walnut
  • Red & Blue Hybrid Sparkle
  • Marine Spiral wrap
• Saturn MH Exotic Edition: Features the same specification as the MH Series Saturn but with an exotic wood veneer exterior ply and all come with black chrome hardware, adding a premium look range to Saturn IV.
  The Exotic Saturn MH series is available in 5 new lacquered finishes in very pronounced tones:
  • Satin Black Maple Burl
  • Cherry Mist Rosewood Burl
  • Natural Ash Burl
  • Deep Water Ash Burl
  • Clear Ash Burl Burst.

  The new features and finishes of the Saturn IV are a continuation of the changes initiated by the Mapex marketing department.
