Make It And Break It – Jason Gianni – 4

In this week’s installment, I break down the main groove of my proposed first released single entitled, “I See Your Five and I Raise You 3…..or 4.” It’s a very difficult groove of a 5/16 right hand pattern, a 3/16 left (over 2 surfaces) and a 4/4 foot pattern (over 3 pedals) which poses an even more challenging task of keeping your place within the harmonic phrasing & structure of the melody.
