Steve Bowman also known as The Skin Doctor, was a founding member and the drummer for the band Counting Crows during the recording of their debut album August and Everything After. In the late 1994, Bowman left the group, and in the next few years he joined the Third Eye Blind, John Wesley Harding, and Penelope Houston.
