Klaus Meine began developing lyrics inspired by the chaos and desire that come with life on the road. Rarebell’s tom runs before the chorus are especially iconic, acting like thunder rolling in before the storm hits. Recording took place at Dierks Studios, where the band pushed for a polished but ferocious sound. They performed it on every major tour of the ’80s, including the Love at First Sting world tour and massive festival appearances across Europe and the U.S. Live versions often featured extended drum breaks, giving Rarebell room to unleash even heavier fills and crowd-shaking accents.
