The song has 123 beats per minute for its tempo, and the lyrics was written by James Hetfield which has a concept of a child’s nightmares. It was also listed as the 408th song on the “500 Greatest Songs of All Times” by the Rolling Stone magazine. It was also named as the 5th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1 in 2009, and many more accolades!
Lars Ulrich is Metallica’s drummer and one of the founding member. From a family of tennis players, Ulrich began playing drums until he met James Hetfield in 1981 and formed the band. He was known as the pioneer of fast thrash drum beats.
